The gas station will join Publix, Chase Bank, McDonalds (and more) at the Lakeside Village Shopping Center on County Road 535 & Reams Road. This new development will be a big relief for residents living on the south side of Windermere, including the communities of Keene's Pointe, Glenmuir, Casa Del Lago, Oxford Moor, and Waterstone.

Windermere residents are fortunate to have an abundance of everything from theme parks, to world class shopping, endless options for dining (from fast food to fine dining), and community events right in our own backyard. The Great Wheel Corp. has purchased a piece of property near the Orange County Convention Center. This property, which sits on thirty-seven acres, was bought for thirty-eight million dollars.

This purchase contributed to a three-way deal. The land was first sold to Shamanand “Sham” Maharaj’s Buena Vista Corp. by Westwood Boulevard Ltd. They then sold the property to Great Orlando Wheel.

Great Wheel purchased the property so they could build a rotating observation wheel. This wheel would be part of an International Drive resort complex, reports Orlando Business Journal. The wheel will have a 960-person capacity and these visitors will be taken on rides in pods that have been equipped with air
