Pulte Homes has once again been awarded with the highest ranking in customer satisfaction. They have earned this honor for the fourth year in a row and this comes from the 2007 J.D. Power and Associates New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study. The company has also earned the highest rankings for new-home quality, new-home design and builder-mortgage orientation. The latter three categories have been added for the 2007 study. Coming close to Pulte Homes were four other builders. They included Beazer, Centex Homes, David Weekley Homes, and KB Home.

The study involved twenty-six of the thirty-four U.S. markets and included Pulte’s brands Del Webb, DiVosta, and Pulte Homes. Pulte’s rankings were first for customer satisfaction in eleven markets, and

WorldQuest Resort, which is located close to Disney World, has just been placed on the Expedia.com Insiders Select list. This Orlando condo hotel  project, which has a total of 660 units has been developed by Jordan Development Group LLC. This is a huge honor for the development company as only one percent of Expedia.com properties were placed on the list.

To determine who would make the list, over three thousand travelers and three hundred local experts and hotel marketing managers were consulted. Criteria for making the list included service, overall experience and value.

The Great Wheel Corp. has purchased a piece of property near the Orange County Convention Center. This property, which sits on thirty-seven acres, was bought for thirty-eight million dollars.

This purchase contributed to a three-way deal. The land was first sold to Shamanand “Sham” Maharaj’s Buena Vista Corp. by Westwood Boulevard Ltd. They then sold the property to Great Orlando Wheel.

Great Wheel purchased the property so they could build a rotating observation wheel. This wheel would be part of an International Drive resort complex, reports Orlando Business Journal. The wheel will have a 960-person capacity and these visitors will be taken on rides in pods that have been equipped with air

Lake Nona in the Southeast section of Orlando is about to see it’s first construction on a mixed-use development. The Lake Nona Village project construction is said to begin in October.

This mixed-use project will include seven hundred thousand square feet of retail, restaurants and office condos. Also included in the project are twenty-two residential condos and ninety-nine apartment units. This project, which will be known as Lake Nona Village, will sit atop fourteen and a half acres on Narcoossee Road.

The commercial and retail space will be built first with the residential units being started when those are just about completed. The developer for the project is Van Metre Companies and Colliers Arnold will be responsible for leasing out the
