As summer heats up in the Central Florida region, the Orlando area has so many ways to celebrate the 4th, along with other great events happening the week of June 29 - July 5. Check out the guide to plan your week:

  • Jun 28, 29, 30 | Anime Festival Orlando, Rosen Plaza | Celebrate anime with an event dedicated to Japanese art. Cosplay content, game shows, panels, and even karaoke will keep the most dedicated fans entertained all day.

  • Jun 29 | Great American Block Party, Lake Nona Town Center | Bring friends and family together for delicious food, games, live music, and a wing-eating competition!

  • July 3 | Mount Dora Freedom on the Waterfront, Mount Dora | Head to Elizabeth Evans Park for an evening of fun activities, food trucks, beverages, and a spectacular fireworks show over Lake Dora. Bonus: on the 4th, head downtown for the Independence Day parade.

  • July 3 | Red Hot & Boom, Altamonte Springs | Come together for an evening of food, fun, live music, and a dazzling firework show at Cranes Roost Park.

  • July 4 | Parade & Party in the Park & Fireworks, Winter Garden | Live entertainment, food vendors, and activities, including kids crafts, will be held at Newton Park along with a vibrant fireworks over Lake Apopka.

  • July 4 | Independence Day Spectacular, Celebration | There is no better place to "Celebrate" Independence Day than in downtown Celebration at the Town Center with music and an explosive firework show to cap off the evening.

  • July 4 | Red, White and Boom!, Clermont Waterfront Park | Head to the waterside at Waterfront Park for an evening of activities and fireworks over Lake Minneola.

  • July 4 | Fireworks at the Fountain, Lake Eola Park | Celebrating the 47th annual Fireworks show in downtown Orlando, alongside live patriotic music by the Orlando Concert Band, food, and fun!

  • July 4 | Avalon Park 4th of July Celebration, Downtown Avalon Park | Celebrate the 4th with an Apple Pie Bake-Off, kids activities, bike parade, food trucks, music, and so much more! Fireworks will end the evening's festivities.

  • July 5 - 7 | Casey Abrams, Dr. Phillips Center | Listen to American Idol favorite in Season 10, Casey Abrams, as he plays jazzy tunes on his bass.
