With its grand opening slated for 2025, Universal's Epic Universe promises to redefine the theme park experience, offering guests immersive worlds, innovative technology, and unforgettable adventures. From the latest update from Universal, we'll delve into everything we know about Epic Universe so far:

Overview

• 4th Universal Theme Park: Universal Epic Universe expands the Universal Orlando Resort, adding to visitor attractions at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay Waterpark.
• Spanning 750 acres of land near existing Universal attractions, Epic Universe offers ample space for exploration and adventure.
• New Themed Worlds: Guests will traverse five distinct worlds connected through mystical portals, offering diverse themes and captivating narratives.

Just how close is the new park to the existing parks? From the current Universal parks to Epic Universe entrance is approximately 4.5 miles south and to the east of I-4.

Let's explore the immersive, themed worlds of Epic Universe:

• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic: Immerse yourself into the magical world of Harry Potter, exploring iconic locations in the wizarding realm celebrating 1920's Paris from Fantastic Beasts and the British Ministry of Magic. 
• SUPER NINTENDO WORLD: Experience the beloved characters and adventures of Nintendo, brought to life in a vibrant and interactive environment.
• How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk: Embark on a journey to the Isle of Berk, where dragons roam and epic adventures await, inspired by the popular film franchise.
• Dark Universe: Enter a realm of mystery and intrigue, where dark forces lurk, and thrilling encounters await brave adventurers.
• Celestial Park: Serving as the central hub of Epic Universe, Celestial Park welcomes guests and serves as the gateway to other immersive worlds within the theme park.

What else can we expect from the newest park?

• Shopping at the Nintendo Super Star Store offering a wide range of themed merchandise and keepsakes inspired by beloved characters and franchises. 
• All new dining, including Atlantic Restaurant & The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant
• Incredible ride experiences including a dual-launch high-speed coaster, Starfall Racers, and Mario Kart™ 

Where will guests stay?

One of the most anticipated features of the new park is the first in-park hotel, Helios Grand Hotel, a 500-room hotel complete with a dedicated entrance into Epic Universe.

In addition, guests may opt for the Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, both available in January 2025 and February 2025 respectively. These resorts offer bus transportation to the parks, early park admission, on-site dining, resort-style pool, spa, game room, and fitness center.

Anticipated to open in Summer 2025, it's hard to believe visitors will be stepping foot in this incredible new park in a little over a year!
