Windsong at Windermere, is the new residential development proposed for a 35-acre parcel of land, within the Town of Windermere, FL. The proposed single-family community would be located South of the Reserve at Belmere, and East of the Willows at Lake Rhea along Maguire Road, North of Windermere Road.
UPDATE: Just Announced! The Windsong at Windermere community has been renamed to Estancia at Windermere by Taylor Morrison Homes.
The 35-acre parcel of land is home to a 4-acre area of wetlands, and a 2-acre pond. If approved, Windsong at Windermere will include luxury homes for sale situated on both exterior and interior lots, approximately 65' wide by 140' deep. New luxury homes will be available to build on pond front lots and lots along conservation preserves, with the privacy of no rear neighbors. Currently, the proposed Builder slated for the development is new home builder, Taylor Morrison Homes.

Windsong at Windermere real estate sits on a property in which was annexed into the Town of Windermere in 2011, along with the annexation of the Willows at Lake Rhea. Due to the annexation, the proposed new single-family community of Windsong at Windermere is currently under the review of both the Windermere Long Range Planning Committee and the Development Review Board, giving the rights of final approval for the proposed project and site plan exclusively to the Town of Windermere, rather than Orange County Government officials.
